Description
The nano-purification solutions PFC Pressure Flow Controller includes a control valve and positioner with a visual indicator and fail-to-open actuator. The controller regulates the low side compressed air system pressure to a field adjustable set pressure, supplying a constant low side pressure within 1 to 2 PSIG of the set point. It automatically allows for periods of stored higher pressure compressed air from the upstream receiver tank(s), averaging out compressed air usage. The unit enables the compressed air system to be operated with minimal compressor HP, allowing the compressor to no longer provide maximum flow at peak usage periods but maintain flow equal to average usage.
The controller requires only a single control valve and single pressure input signal, and is designed to reduce the surge of power required to meet increased demands. The system is complete with a pilot air filter, pressure gauges, drain port, bypass piping and valves for installation in either new or existing systems.
