The Hertz HBD Series rotary screw air compressor is available from 5.5 to 50 HP in a small footprint design. The HBD Series features a belt-pulley drive system, microprocessor controller, patented and durable screw block to provide high capacity air, and an air and oil separator. The cooling system includes a quiet and efficient axial fan that connects directly to the main motor, with an additional axial fan with temperature control for 20 to 50 HP models. The HBD Series 5.5 HP model utilizes a DOL starter, while all other models have a Wye-Delta motor starting system.
