The Champion R-Series gas powered two stage piston air compressor is available as a tank mounted model (30, 60, 80, or low-profile 2x 4 gallon) or base mounted model. The multi-finned cylinders enable cooler operating temperatures while the integral cylinder/head design allows for a low maintenance and trouble-free design. The two high efficient lap joint compression rings with bi-directional seal provide efficient air delivery while the aluminum alloy first-stage piston and cast iron second-stage piston ensure proper balance of the system. The centrifugal unloader assures longer motor life by allowing the compressor to start unloaded every time.

    The compressor works great for our maintenance guys and we expected it to since we have used Champion units in the past. Happy there but getting it was an absolute nightmare. I know you guys don't have any involvement once it ships but the freight company was the worst. It took 4 times for a delivery time to be honored and they made it seem it was our fault and their responses were rude to our inquiries. Sorry, needed to vent and we will look to do business with Compressor World again.

    Bought 2 units over the course of a couple of months and so far so good. Both piston units were great and it was the Champion warranty that made the decision to purchase the Champion brand. The Compressor World website was so easy to navigate and finding the right equipment was very easy and the ordering was simple. Very impressed with the selection and information and will be our compressor supplier for the future. Definitely recommend working with Compressor World.
