The Champion Evolution Series two-stage piston air compressor provides the advantages of a reciprocating compressor coupled with the low noise of a rotary screw. This makes the Evolution Series ideal for areas with a low noise requirement and can be installed directly within the work environment close to the point of use. This reduces the amount of piping, resulting in reduced pressure drops.

The Evolution Series features a gasketless cylinder/head design, stainless steel valve disks, and tapered roller main bearings for increased reliability. The integral cylinder and head eliminate the possibility of blown head gaskets for leak-free, trouble-free operation. Balanced aluminum alloy first-stage piston is weight matched to the cast iron second-stage piston for proper balance and minimized vibration. The domed piston design allows for maximum air delivery and efficiency. The integrated air-cooled aftercooler removes up to 65% moisture and the separate compressor and motor chambers have dedicated cooling circuits for cooler operation.
