Description

The Atlas Copco GA55-90 Oil-Injected Rotary Screw Air Compressor is ideal for applications with a stable air demand, where it is designed to provide significantly lower energy consumption. It uses an oil-cooled Interior Permanent Magnet (iPM) motor that provides cooling for all speeds and ambient conditions. The oil-lubricated motor bearing requires no re-greasing, increasing uptime. The motor is IP66 certified pressure tight. The vertical design direct drive uses less parts, is oil-cooled, pressure-tight, and includes no gears, belts or shaft seal. The inlet filter has a maintenance cycle of 4,000 hours and includes a pressure drop indicator.

An integrated electronic no-loss water drain ensures constant removal of condensate, and includes a manual bypass for effective condensate removal in case of power failure. The unit's fan is compliant with ERP2020 efficiency standards. The optional integrated dryer is designed for a compact footprint and uses R410A refrigerant.

The integrated Elektronikon® Touch controller includes warning indications, compressor shut-down and maintenance scheduling. It provides standard SMARTLINK remote monitoring to maximize air system performance and energy savings. A sentinel no-loss inlet valve optimizes inlet flow of the air end, with no blow-off losses.
