Description

The Atlas Copco NGP+ Cabinet Nitrogen Generator applies self-protective monitoring of the feed air quality, including temperature, pressure, pressure dewpoint, and automatic feed air blow-off in case of contamination. It has an air factor (air-to-nitrogen ratio) from 1.8 (95% N2) to 5.5 (99.999% N2). A minimum pressure valve with bypass nozzle provides for fast start-up, and eliminates risk of overflow and CMS damage.

A nitrogen flow meter is included as standard, and the oxygen sensor's zirconia design extendes its lifetime. The unit automatically regulates to the requested nitrogen pressure and purity, and privdes off-spec nitrogen flushing. Nitrogen is used instead of air in the pressurization phase, and no oxygen contamination of the CMS occurs before the adsorption phase starts. In the case of no nitrogen being consumed, the unit includes a stand-by mode.
